We want to showcase one of our pledges we are excited to bring you, the Ultimate Bug Out Bag. This tactical backpack will be fully loaded with all necessary items you'd need in your zombie survival plan:

We're still going for all of our stretch goals, and our most recent goal to reach at $45k is an upgrade to our SPEW-AI. In the first edition of Outbreak: Undead we built you an interactive character customization website. You would answer questions and based on your answers we would give you your own custom character sheet. 

This time we want to upgrade that system to make it even more precise and in depth.

QUICK START GUIDE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD

The FIRST VERSION of the Quick Start Guide is now available for download at DTRPG!

 For those of you interested in the NEW LAYOUT and PRESENTATION of what 2nd Edition has to offer. THIS IS A GREAT PREVIEW of what you can expect!

Hero Forge Unlocked!

 That's right! Everyone gets a $5 coupon from HERO FORGE to help create YOURSELF as a character in Outbreak: Undead. We'll be sending out your coupon code SHORTLY in a BACKER ONLY UPDATE!

On deck, SPEW-AI 2.0 - $45k

At 45k we are doing something we've been wanting to do for quite a while, update the SPEW-AI 40Q personality test on our website.

Right now, the test was only updated from FLASH to HTML5 a few years ago when Flash was no longer a viable/stable option for web. But we want to do MORE! Our goal is to with SPEW-AI 2.0

-Allow players to SELECT ABILITIES

-Autofill Skill numbers (less math is good!)

-Allow Spending of GESTALT POINTS to increase skill/abilities/SPEW

-Allow a PRINTABLE character sheet at the End

We tasked an amazing software engineer with the job, and our team is going back to our Psychological Research Associates to take another pass at some of the big quesitons we get about the test!

Welcome Survivors!

WOW! We're already almost to 35k! Thank you Survivors, you're all spreading this campaign like your LIVES depended on it (and maybe they do?).

Anyway, you've got some questions, we have some answers!

Novelization Pledge now available.

At $20k, we unlocked an AWESOME short story by award winning author Jennifer Brozek. We promised we'd make a pledge that would allow THREE lucky backers to be NAMED CHARACTERS in that short story. 

Well we just put that pledge up now at $500. Go upgrade, or grab it before it's gone!

Digital Reference Cards - Aethercon

We wanted to let you know that the PDF version of the standard add-ons including the Gear/Abilities/Character cards WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE as part of the Digital Stretch Goals. Speaking of VTT, We'll also be running events at AetherCon which is coming up in November! Come join us for a game!

Photoshoot Details

Right now we are planning on shooting TWO DAYS in November (10th-11th) in the Los Angeles area. One will be on Location, while the other will be in a Studio. Join several of our friends as well as JAMES HUDSON (from Druid City Games, our first Photoshoot backer) on that day! 

This is a way to REALLY get involved in this project, on the ground floor of the development and become a part of the art of the book!
